Force and Motion Blog  By Amadi Clemens INTRODUCTION: Do you listen to Travis Scott? If so, you know of his most recent album AstroWorld has been on tour. One of his recent shows (in Oakland, California) he performed with a roller coaster. Crazy, right? It wasn’t like a full roller coaster that you see Six Flags. It’s like the Ring of Fire at Clementon Park. His ring ties into his theme park theme! PROS AND CONS: There are pros and cons that follow this event. A pro is that it was a fresh idea. I’ve seen amusement parks and rides in music videos but never live in concert. Another pro is that it was eye-catching and entertaining.. The main idea of a concert is that it is entertaining, this is going back to the idea of fresh. A con is that it’s very dangerous. Although thrilling, what if something goes wrong? What if it breaks? Magnetism is caused by the motion of electric charges. Earth has two geographic poles: the North Pole and the South Pole. They are the places on Earth's surface that Earth's imaginary spin axis passes through. Our planet also has two magnetic poles: the North Magnetic Pole and the South Magnetic Pole. The magnetic poles are near, but not quite in the same place as the geographic poles.   The Earth is a magnet that can interact with other magnets in this way, so the north end of a compass magnet is drawn to align with the Earth's magnetic field. Claudia Morales                                                                                                           3/22/19 Why Does Iron Rust Rust forms from a compound called iron oxide.  Its formed when iron and oxygen is exposed to moisture in the air.  Its very hard to find very pure iron because its always exposed to oxygen and at least some moisture in the air. Iron can also rust in chloride.  Pillars under a pool would turn a green color instead of the brown color.  If iron meets with its alloys like steel and corrode, the pieces of iron would rust and disintegrate when its meet with water and then left alone for a long while.
