  By Marc Gabay Waves are a very interesting topic, if you take the time to think about it thoroughly; for example, light waves or radiation. The kinds of light waves from our sun are visible light ways. On average, it takes roughly 8 minutes and 20 seconds for the sun's light rays to reach Earth. That being said, if the sun were to suddenly disappear out of the universe, it would take a little more than 8 minutes before we realized it was getting a bit chilly. Light travels fast, however space is so big and vast that it takes many years even for distant stars, galaxies, and/or planets to even come into sight. Unimolecular reactions occur when one reactant undergoes bond breaking or forming to create different products. Bimolecular reactions are where two reactants collide and then undergo bond breaking or forming. Termolecular association reactions, where two reactants collide to form a whole with a new chemical bond between the two reactants. A third molecule, known as the bath gas, then removes some of the internal kinetic energy of that molecule to stabilize it. Researchers from Columbia University , led by Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Michael P.
