How Does Color deficiency Affect the Human Eye

color deficiency has different types some are you can't see some shades of  reds and greens which is common and blues and yellows which are less common and then there is people who can only see black and gray.  This is caused due to the retinas which uses cones to see or recognize color for our eyes to see found in the macula each one is sensitive to diffrent colors due to there wavelengths.

People see color due to pigments reading to the brain to tell you what color you see, if a cone doesn't have enough light sensitivity it affects what three primary colors you will be unable to see.  Like I said before the most common for of color deficiency is red and green which doen't mean you can't see them it is just much mor difficult to see those colors with your naked eye same thing with blue and yellows which all depends on its darkness.

Color deficiency uaually comes from family members genes that you inherit kind of like I inherited my grandfathers genes giving me color deficiency  that isn't as bad as his but some colors I am able to see.  This can be diagnosed through a test of which you have to find the number or letter through the diffrent tiny dots on the screen which can be diagnosed when they have trouble finding the number or letter on the card.

The next step is something you can put in your eye like contacts but they never come out and for people with color deficiency will be able to see colors without puting glasses that help you see that you will then take off.  That brings me on to a step already taken in our society due to males having color deficiency they made glasses for people with a variety of color deficencys and made diffrent designs of glasses for people like me who don't experience true colors in our every day life like people who are without color deficency.
