Types of the Waves

Waves can be help full but sometimes they might some serious impact on the human body. Without waves we would not have the life we have today. The types of waves include long radio waves, radio waves, microwaves, visible light, infrared, ultraviolet, x-rays, and gamma rays. Each of them helps us in many different ways. Radio waves are used every day in our lives, as they are used to broadcast everything that you hear on the radio and see on your television. Microwaves are the most important waves in today’s world because they are used in everything that includes technology. Infrared rays are used to detect an object that has heat, and to tell the temperature of that object. Visible light is what all of us see every day, it consists of all the colors that us humans can see, and is used to, well, light things up. Ultraviolet It is emitted from the sun in very large quantities and used in tanning booths. It is very harmful to skin after a period and is confirmed to cause skin cancer. Gamma rays are emitted by quasars, dying stars, and nuclear bombs. This ray has a lot of penetrating power and is conventionally used in nuclear weapons. X-rays are most recognized in their medical usages and have revolutionized the identification of problems with the skeletal structure. X-Rays are also used in security systems around the globe and have caught a lot of people with illegal weaponry on them.
Some of these waves can be very harmful, some of these waves can cause burns and cancer. The effects usually occur at lower frequencies, because at low frequencies, external electric and magnetic fields induce small circulating currents within the body. The main effect of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields is heating of body tissues. There is no doubt that short-term exposure to very high levels of electromagnetic fields can be harmful to health.
The effects of these waves are very harmful. Radio waves interference from other radio waves can be a problem, range can also be a problem. High exposures of microwaves can cause cancer and burns. Infrared rays can cause minor burns if exposed to skin for long periods of time. A bright light of visible light (such as the sun) can blind you. Ultraviolet rays causes skin cancer, damages eyes, in large amounts, damages immune system. Even small amounts of x-rays can cause many forms of cancer and requires large equipment to use effectively. Gamma rays lingering radioactivity from bombs can prove detrimental to human health.
These waves can be very helpful in the future. Now a days we use these waves as part of our everyday lives. We can find them all over the world because they include technology, medical usage, and everything that we use. In the future these waves are going to help us to be more modern, mostly in technology equipment.
