Electronegativity/ Radiation
Electronegativity
Electronegativity is a measure of the tendency of an atom to attract a boding pair of electrons. As you move an atom up the periodic table its electronegativity becomes stronger, it becomes stronger because it is getting higher. The atoms generally known for having the most electronegativity are the ones in the top right corner of the periodic table. And the ones that are known for having the lowest amount of electronegativity can be found in the bottom left of the periodic table.

* Midway through my research of electronegativity i realized that i couldn't really find much about this topic but i didn't want to delete the information that i did have. So instead of getting rid of what i had i decided to also write about radiation as a backup topic.

Radiation
Definition of radiation:
Radiation is the emission of energy as electromagnetic waves or as moving subatomic particles, especially high energy particles which cause ionization. Radiation can also be known as energy traveling through space, this is because of the sun. Sunlight is is one of the most known forms of radiation known to scientist. The sun delivers heat, light, and can give someone a suntan is outside in the sun for an excessive amount of time.

Types of radiations:
Radiation can be found there are many types of radiation sources but most common ones are alpha radiation, beta radiation, gamma rays, and neutrons. Alpha radiation is emitted by some substances undergoing radioactive decay. this type of radiation cant so called be found anywhere but it is known for being emitted form the nucleus of some "radionuclides" during a form of radioactive and that's where it get the name alpha decay from. Beta radiation is a radiation formed my beta which are particles which are electrons. Beta is a high energy, high speed electron that is emitted by radioactive decay of an atomic nucleus, which happens during the process of beta decay. A gamma ray is a kind of arising from the radioactive decay of atomic nuclei.Gamma rays are most commonly known to be produced by high temperature, and they generally come from solar flares which are cause by eruptions on the sins surface. They can also come from nova and super nova explosions which are explosions that cause stars to become hotter than usual. Neutrons are subatomic particles of about the same mass of protons but without an electric charge. Neutrons can be found in the nucleolus of an atom. They are known to be produced by copiously in nuclear fission and fusion.
Harms of radiation:
Radiation can be a very harmful substance. Exposure to high levels of radiation on the human body can cause major effects that can harm a person very severely. For example, if a person is close to an atomic blasts it can cause that person to have health effects such as major skin burns and acute radiation syndrome which is radiation sickness. Even though that is enough to ruin someones body internal and externally that's not all is can also result in long term health effects such a cancer and cardiovascular disease which a disease that causes diseased blood vessels, structural problems, and blood clots.

Next steps:
I think that as years go on radiation will become stronger and stronger. I think this because as we progress in time there is technology in factories that need a lot of power to function properly and these machines need to be made somehow. So, i believe that power plants will become our main source of produce of big machines and they will eventually become independent power plants which means that they will not need any humans to be present during the process of forming the machines that will later be used to create materials that humans need for everyday life.(But then again it's just a thought)
