What is wireless charging and how does it work?

In the 21’st century we have created so many technological advancements, like cars, airplanes, phones, laptops, i pads, and the list goes on. First, I will be talking about what is wireless charging. Second,I will talk about the history of wireless charging. Then, you will know how does wireless charging work. Lastly I will talk about were the inventors will go from there.

Wireless charging was a phenomenon in NASA. But when NASA developed wireless headphones, it was the start to make wireless chargers. Wireless chargers are meant to only be made for smartphones. In 1831, Faraday conducted the electromagnetic induction and built the first “direct-current generator”, it was the start of manipulating electricity. In 1887, Hertz created the oscillator, what it did was it created radio waves.

How wireless charging works will be explained by the following and the scientist that thought of the idea. The scientist that thought of wireless chargers is Nikola Tesla. It started with a phenomenon called “induction”. Induction is where the electric conductor can change a magnetic field Wireless charging relies on magnetic induction. The magnetic plate relies on electrical currents that charges a magnetic field. Then it creates voltage that can charge your phone just by placing it on top of the wireless charger. That’s how wireless charger works.

I believe the next steps are for electric charging are making electrical chargers for electric cars, and to do studies on how to control electromagnetism and make it more beneficial for inventions to rise. Electric cars use electricity to fuel up, why don’t engineers start to expand smartphone wireless charging to wireless charging for electric cars. It will be beneficial for space and time to make it. We should fund studies for electromagnetism because if we do, then we learn more about electromagnetism, and we can reach the end goal of learning to control electromagnetic force. It can start inventions like a hover boards (the board can have technology to repel magnetic forces).
